Con el apoyo de la concejal y candidata a Alcaldesa de Santa Ana, Michele Martínez, Arturo José Lomelí, DDS, nacido en Zacapu, Michoacán, México, ha anunciado su candidatura para un escaño en la Junta de Síndicos del Distrito Colegial Comunitario Rancho Santiago.
En una carta de presentación para los electores, Lomelí dice que es el mayor de seis hijos de una familia que emigró a los EE.UU. en 1963. El es ahora ciudadano estadounidense y vive en Orange Park Acres con su esposa y tres hijos, con las edades de 24, 19 y 16. Ejerce la práctica dental en Downtown Santa Ana y lleva 20 años haciéndolo.
Ha cursado estudios en Orange Coast College, UCLA, y participó en un Programa de Verano de Ciencias de la Harvard University antes de obtener un bachillerato en Biolog1a de la California State University en Fullerton. Obtuvo el grado en D.D.S. de la Escuela de Dentistas de la University of California en San Francisco en 1987. Se desempeñó como profesor adjunto por dos años en la Escuela de Dentistas de la University of Southern California.
El Dr. Lomelí tiene un récord de voluntarismo en favor de la comunidad, involucramiento y experiencia profesional. Es comisionado con la Ciudad de Santa Ana y ha sostenido numerosas posiciones ejecutivas en asociaciones locales de comercio y de índole comunitaria. Recientemente, fue homenajeado, concediéndosele el Premio de Servicios Distinguidos por el Club Kiwanis de Santa Ana por las muchísimas horas de servicio a l;a comunidad, incluyendo la donación de cuidado dental paa estudiantes con problemas financieros.

To send a letter to the Congress and the Senate asking for a
MORATORIUM TO STOP ALL DEPORTATIONS
Until the new Immigration Reform grants all Undocumented Immigrants that qualify
to adjust their legal status; a path to prepare and to get ready with all the proper
documents needed to be legalized
Also the Construction of Laborers’ Centers in Every City in California . That will
alleviate the problem that these hard working individuals are facing.
We will be an Example for the Nation to Follow.
Undocumented Immigration is one of the country's most immediate problem that
need to be resolve, that's why Comprehensive Immigration (Reform) is a must, we
should not be Mistaken Mexicans, Central, and South American with Terrorist, don't
be mislead by this Anti Immigrant
Groups that are claiming the contrary.
We must understand, unless we stop and resolve the real issue that is the need
of the US business for Low cost labor, that the countries south of the border had
provided for so many years, can't be taken for Granted this hard labor and hard
working individuals deserve better treatment and humane working conditions and
a chance to be productive and at the same time to be granted legal residence..

smuggling of drugs across the Nation and Across the World.
So you can see that sealing the (Border) is not the Solution, is just a waste of tax payers
money our money, the Federal Government has to prevent this Infiltrations by securing, protecting and be more Selective when (Issuing Visas to Foreigners)
Mexican consumers in the US & Mexico (Border) Just in San Diego area 70,000 that
(Cross the Border) every day From Mexico to San Diego, 63 percent enter the State
to shop. According to the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, they estimate
that the 8 percent of the Retail transactions in San Diego are from Mexican Nationals
that come across.
With sales reaching $40.8 Billions in 2003 that means that if we close the (Borders)
from Side to side The US government will suffer irreparable damage to the economy
of this country that is suffering a (Catastrophic Economic Situation all Ready)
